“King of The Ring”

Rehab group have teamed up with the Acorn Project/the Longford Boxing club on a joint fundraiser to help continue services to the Longford Area.

 The plan would be to pool the resources from the two organisations to maximise the success of the night for both parties.  This collaborative effort will ensure the event gets the maximum support at the least possible cost.  The night is planned for the 27th March in the Longford Arms

 The organizing team are looking for willing participants between the ages of 21 and 40 years old to come forward and volunteer for a three by two minute bout on the night.  Individuals will be asked to participate in a medical check and they will be offered a six week training programme with a professional coach. 

This is a great way to get fit after the over indulgences of the Christmas period.  Boxers will be required to seek sponsorship through sponsorship cards or corporate for these worthy causes.  Ideally the candidates would be a well know personalities in Co. Longford to help boost the profile of the night and maximise ticket sales.
